Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of www.championconstruction-nj.com (the "Site"), operated by Champion NJ Construction LLC ("Champion Construction," "we," "us," or "our"), a roofing, siding, masonry, chimney, steps and gutter contractor based in Fairfield, New Jersey. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Information on This Site

The Site provides general information about our services, our company and common home exterior problems. Articles, FAQs, cost discussions and service descriptions are for general information only. They are not a diagnosis of your home, a quote or professional advice for your specific situation. Every home is different, and we can only recommend a repair or replacement after we inspect the property in person.

We work to keep the Site accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that all information is complete, current or free of errors. We may change or remove content at any time without notice.

2. Free Inspections and Estimates

• Inspections and estimates are free and come with no obligation to hire us.
• Submitting a form on the Site, calling or texting us is a request for an inspection or estimate. It does not create a contract and does not guarantee that we will take on your project.
• We do not give binding prices over the phone, by text or through the Site. Prices are provided only in a written estimate after we inspect your property.
• Written estimates are based on the conditions visible at the time of inspection. Hidden conditions found once work begins, such as rotted sheathing, damaged framing, failed masonry behind a surface, or code requirements set by your local building department, may require a change to the scope and price. We will show you what we found and get your written approval before doing any extra work or charging any extra amount.
• Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date on the estimate unless the estimate states otherwise, because material prices change.

3. Contracts for Work

All work is performed under a separate written contract signed by you and Champion Construction. That contract sets out the scope of work, price, payment schedule, start and completion dates, materials and warranty terms, and it includes the information and cancellation rights required by the New Jersey Contractors' Registration Act and the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act. If anything on the Site conflicts with your signed contract, your signed contract controls.

Under New Jersey law, you may cancel a home improvement contract without penalty before midnight of the third business day after you receive a copy of the signed contract, as explained in the contract itself.

4. Warranties

Descriptions of warranties on the Site, including our workmanship warranty and manufacturer material warranties, are summaries. The specific warranty terms, length and coverage for your project are stated in your written contract and in the manufacturer's warranty documents. Manufacturer warranties are provided by the manufacturer, not by Champion Construction, and are subject to the manufacturer's terms. We will help you register and use any manufacturer warranty that applies to your project.

5. Insurance Claims

When you ask, we can photograph damage, meet your adjuster and help make sure the scope of the claim matches the work your home needs. We are a contractor, not a public adjuster or an attorney. We do not negotiate claims on your behalf, interpret your insurance policy or guarantee that your insurance company will approve a claim or pay any particular amount. Decisions about coverage are made by your insurance company.

6. Reviews and Testimonials

Reviews and testimonials on the Site come from our customers and describe their own experiences. Results depend on the condition of each home, and one customer's results do not guarantee the same outcome for your project.

7. Photos and Content

All content on the Site, including text, photographs of our projects, logos, graphics and design, is owned by Champion Construction or used with permission and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute or use any content from the Site, including our project photos, for any other purpose without our written permission.

8. Acceptable Use

When using the Site, you agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading or someone else's information in our forms
• Send spam, automated submissions or harmful code
• Try to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems
• Interfere with the Site's operation or security
• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose

9. Calls and Text Messages

By submitting your phone number through the Site, you agree that we may call or text you about your request, appointment, estimate or project. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out. Consent is not a condition of hiring us. See our Privacy Policy for details.

10. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to websites we do not control, such as review platforms, social media, manufacturers and maps. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of those websites, and a link does not mean we endorse them.

11. Disclaimer

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, Champion Construction makes no warranties of any kind about the Site, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors or viruses. This section applies only to your use of the Site. It does not limit any warranty in your written contract for work.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Champion Construction will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or reliance on information on the Site, including any decision you make based on general information on the Site without an in-person inspection. Nothing in these Terms limits our responsibilities under a signed contract for work or any rights you have under New Jersey law that cannot be waived.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Champion Construction and its owners and employees from any claims, losses or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute about the Site or these Terms will be brought in the state courts located in Essex County, New Jersey, or the federal courts for the District of New Jersey, and you agree to the jurisdiction of those courts. Disputes about work we perform are governed by the dispute terms in your written contract.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Changes take effect when they are posted, and your continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the Terms will remain in full effect.
